Industry veteran to lead next chapter of growth and innovation
NDC Construction Company today announced the appointment of Les Snyder as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Snyder, a nationally recognized construction executive with more than four decades of experience, assumes day-to-day leadership as longtime NDC President Ron Allen transitions to the full-time role of Chairman and Owner.
“Les is a proven leader with the experience, relationships, and strategic vision to take NDC into its next era,” comments Ron Allen, NDC Chairman and Owner. “He brings a deep respect for the trades and a passion for building projects that serve communities and support local economies. I am confident Les will lead the company and team with integrity, grit, and forward momentum.”
Snyder’s career spans major infrastructure, commercial, and defense projects across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. His leadership roles have included C-suite executive positions at firms such as American Bridge, Barton Malow, and S&B USA (formerly i+icon USA/Fay).
“NDC is in a period of rapid growth, and that momentum needs to be matched by strong internal systems, thoughtful leadership, and a clear vision,” Snyder adds. “My focus is on strengthening our operational foundation and developing the next generation of construction leaders. NDC is evolving as a company, and that starts with telling our story and executing with purpose.”
Snyder brings decades of national industry leadership, having served as President of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC). He chaired AGC’s Climate Change Task Force and was recognized as Chairman of the Year for his work advancing sustainability in construction.
Snyder now steps into his new role at NDC with a focus on expanding the company’s capabilities, investing in talent, and strengthening its position as a leading construction partner across Florida’s gulf coast and beyond.
