New Station Enhances Emergency Response Capacity

New Station Enhances Emergency Response Capacity

As one of Florida’s fastest-growing communities, Parrish has experienced explosive residential and commercial growth, with thousands of new homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses added to the area. To meet the expanding need for emergency response coverage, the North River Fire District is adding its first new fire station in more than 15 years.

NDC Construction is partnering with WJ Architects to create this new 8,439-square-foot facility, streamlining delivery through an integrated design-build approach.

The station will feature three drive-through apparatus bays and sleeping quarters for up to eight firefighters and EMS personnel. The facility will also provide a kitchen and dining area, day room, supervisor’s office, and dedicated utility room. Site improvements will include parking for 12 vehicles, storm water management, and landscaping.
