Pairing Award-Winning Sustainability with Neighborhood Growth

Pairing Award-Winning Sustainability with Neighborhood Growth

This project marked two major milestones for the region. For south St. Petersburg, it was one of the largest new apartment communities built in decades. For St. Petersburg-based real estate firm Stoneweg, it was their first ground-up residential development in the city.

NDC Construction partnered with Stoneweg and architects Bold Line Design to bring this much-needed housing to St. Petersburg.

The Lake Maggiore community offers 316 one- and two-bedroom apartments and 14 two- or three-bedroom townhomes. Twenty percent of the total units are designated workforce housing, providing affordable options to vital community workers.

Each unit features granite countertops, ten-foot-high ceilings, vinyl plank flooring, smart-home features, and Energy Star-rated stainless-steel appliances, including a washer and dryer.

Built with sustainability in mind, the complex includes energy-efficient lighting, electric vehicle charging stations, and a solar-powered net-zero clubhouse—efforts that earned two Green Globes Certifications.

Community amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, an outdoor lounge, a swimming pool, and lakefront views.
