A Conservatory for Education, Practice, and Performance

A Conservatory for Education, Practice, and Performance

Nurturing the arts has been a longstanding priority in Manatee County. Now it’s time to begin a new chapter—one where the arts are not only celebrated, but given a dedicated space to grow. Sara’s Studios is that destination.

The Florida Cultural Group, for whom NDC Construction built the Manatee Players Theater, is spearheading the new project. With an eye toward maximizing the nonprofit’s results, NDC Construction has structured the project to utilize direct owner purchasing for tax savings.

Designed as a performing arts conservatory and hub for learning and collaboration, the four-story Sara’s Studios will complement the existing Manatee Players Theater by serving as a much-needed practice and learning space. The two buildings will also be connected by a second-floor pedestrian bridge, providing seamless access between the facilities.

Once complete, Sara’s Studios will house professional-level rehearsal studios for artists in dance, theater, and music. It will also offer multimedia learning spaces, recording studios, a music library, and administrative office space.

The Pops Orchestra of Bradenton and Sarasota will relocate to this new artistic hub, which will feature a dedicated 2,900 square-foot rehearsal space with 18-foot ceilings.
